There are noodles and there are noodles and these are of the latter. Slippery and slick, yet still firm and chewy, they were suspended in a rich broth of chicken (me) and fish (dad). The result was pure bliss, the kind of warm-bowl-comfort you search endlessly for on a cold day, and that was exactly what we had been doing, hunting down a bit of red-cheeked heat on an overcast Hong Kong Wednesday in our little corner of Wan Chai. Well, we definitely found it.
