Kate's been absent from Vogue UK for far too long, and what a way to make a come back. The combination of the trench coat, sexily slipping off her shoulder, the gauche and extravagant costume jewelry necklace and the 1960s cat eye is the perfect embodiment of 'recession dressing', that is, and invention test (masterchef style) within your wardrobe. Take what you have and put a new spin on it. Kate looks like a glamorous 30 something who, in search of a fabulous party outfit, has settled on her trusty trench coat, a necklace heirloom of her mother's and flicked her eyes out to emphasise her feline beauty. Although there is serious text overload and unnecessary fluoro orange (doesn't show up in the scan) this is a beautiful image, and Kate's trademark pout complete with slightly askew teeth is perfect, even if she isn't. 

September issues, as the recent documentary will attest, are consistently incredible. Magazines pull out all the stops in attempts to seduce readers with their new advertisements, new season clothes, bigger than ever issues and over the top editorials. What they should realise that fashion-obsessed individuals don't want competition between magazines, they buy them all like i do. Vogue Australia and Harper's Bazaar Australia have rounded off the offerings from down Under, and Vogue UK has set the precedent high for the international scene. This cover promises show stoppers, vamp and sexy, the 'sultan' of streetstyle mr.sart and vogue's new season fashion editorials. 

 Say what you will about the magazine, it makes me happy. Perhaps it's just the fact that all i want from a magazine are interesting articles and beautifully shot editorials (preferably on location) with a well executed theme. I don't really need avant-garde styling, bare breasts and all the other gimmicks of the underground scene. All i want is beautiful fashion, and vogue uk always gives it to me. Air freight this now, please!
