"People seldom notice old clothes if you wear a big smile."
Lee Mildon
my friends and me!
I like being happy. Remember? Sometimes, of course, it helps to be sad. But right now in Sydney the sun is shining so bright that you can't help to be happy. And more inspiring than chanel clogs and prada beach prints and coral lipstick and even army jackets (yes, yes, even them), are girls who smile when they wear all these things. You may have dressed fabulously, but to paraphrase, without a smile you're just not fully dressed... am i right?
Lame as it may sound, this season shall we all go forth with big huge smiles on our faces? For those of you moving breezily into Summer, a smile is the perfect foil for golden, sun-kissed hair and the perfect accessory for little mini skirts and bare, bruised legs. For those of us moving into winter, a smile is the only thing that can turn those grey skies into something marvelous. To directly quote this time - Who cares what you're wearing, from Main Street or Saville Row. It's what you wear from ear to ear, and not from head to toe, that matters...
