history, it's just one fucking thing after another.

Thanks to something wonderful whereby tutorials start in week 2 not week 1, i only have one class today. granted, i actually have a clash so its either french or history, but seeing as the french class i went to yesterday was so painful i wanted to cry, let's just say that everyone, and i mean EVERYONE is fluent and has spent 2 years in Belgium or whatever and has an aunt who is married to a french man and therefore they get loads and loads of practice. My 1 week in Paris is seeming very little compared to all their experience. And also, i do have a little soft spot for history. This class is 1750-1914, pre-modern European history, and i am so excited for it its not funny. The inner nerd is exposed. 

The first day was interesting. Media Communications was a new thing for me, but the first lecture was illuminating and signifies great things to come. Our first assignment is to write a 400 word news story, and i can't wait to get involved in the student paper and meet new people. Yesterday was sort of a blur of scrambling to buy readings, lecture pads and highlighters (i have a thing for bright colour) and i tended to call my good friends from school and last year to find out where they were and have lunch with them. But i am determined to make new friends ASAP and not just stay in my little high school bubble. Haha.

So, outfit for today:

josh goot skirt, COS top, H&M safari coat, stella mccartney for target and vintage scarves (worn as belts), COS necklace, Elka Kramer Necklace, gladiators (out of picture).

Alright, off to class now!
