She used to date andrea casiraghi, which makes me instantly jealous, and the fact that she is reed thin, seriously, a body that couture would love, and has a wardrobe consisting almost entirely of party dresses from the main designers (YSL, balenciaga, lanvin, burberry... *sniff*) and her shoe collection is equally as covetous. Even more than the clothes, however, i am struck by how striking and confident she is. She does not have a conventionally 'pretty' face, but the way she carries herself and the way she wears clothes is in the manner of someone who is supremely comfortable in their own skin.
I have blogged before about how i don't really think i have style icons per se, and that the way i dress is just how i am, eccentric and mish-mash. But even if my style is not like Ms Sieber's i can admire it greatly. I don't wear that many dresses, i'm more of a skirt girl, but i'm saying that if i had the money (and the legs!) then i don't think i would pass up the opportunity to slip into a slinky mini dressed couriered over from yves saint laurent with high high heels. Although i may not wear that kind of thing myself, i can appreciate that in Ms Sieber i see a real effortless chic that manages to also be bang on trend, nay, ahead of the rest of the fashion pack, purely based on her own personal taste. That is truly admirable.
Apart from Emma Watson, i don't know exactly who her other clients are, but if she can manage to keep emma on the straight and narrow sartorially wise, and get her to dress age-appropriate and chic, then she has my vote. Oh, and provided that she continues to strut around london in leather leggings, margiela blazers and killer heels. That, is of the utmost importance.
