Who wears the toga in this relationship?

Toga's new collection lookbook is stunning. The detailing is incredible, envelope-style oragami insert in sleeves, sheer underskirts (theme?), pleated and frilled embellishments onto skirts and dresses, odd pannelling and shiered tops. The colours are also mesmerising, a beautiful mix of deep burgundies, purples, bottle greens, and navy blues with creamy golds, peaches and beige. THe styling of the lookbook shoot was also great, i liked the quirkiness and avant-garde dresses in bright colours paired with mechanic hardware style jewellery in silver/pewter and thick clunky ankle boots. I know it's been done before, and it's not mind-boggling new, but it when it's done right it just hits a real high. 

The clothes are quirky in a very uncliche way, quirky being the buzzword for so many nowadays. They are party dresses with a real twist, with embellishments that change the sillhouettes of outfits and give them extra depth and intensity, rather than just some feathers or pleating added into your standard party dresses. THese clothes are actually visually arresting, draped in such a gravity-defying way they make you really wonder how the hell Toga made the clothes. Stocked at Dover Street Market, expect me to be drooling over them come february of next year, although i expect they'll come with a DSM price tag to boot. BOO! I wish i wore the toga in this relationship, DSM.
