ah lily. thou truly art a double edged sword. she used to dress in vintage tea dresses and nike kicks, and it was cute, a really personal style that was not too overdone in the media at the time and was young and fresh. And then her style matured a little as she got more interested in designers, and she came out in some very sophisticated outfits, like pretty chanel cocktail dresses, prada ballgowns and dolce and gabbana. She looked a lot older than her 22 years of age most of the time, and although i did like some of what she wore i became a little nostalgic for the old lily and her crazy clothes.

And now it seems clear that lily is taking herself to new heights. I can't open a gossip mag or the home page of a british newspaper without seeing a story about lily and her gravity-defying shoes. Forget gwyneth, the shoes that lily has been wearing are really wild, like super super high, and lily is no grass hopper like gwyneth. She's far from fat, i actually quite like her body and her curves, but it is much harder for people who are not model sample size to wear sky high 10 inch stilletos because the weight is spread out over such a small area.... But i have to hand it to lily, she has not hand one fall, and she has certainly been creating as many opportunities for tumbles as she can, what with high heels and lots of alcohol (the two generally don't mix well). precarious! dangerous! wild! just another day in the life of lily allen.

Louis Vuitton; the wedge that everyone has to be seen in, from kate lanphear to lily allen. what a bizarre range!

Chanel; the platform pump with interlocking chanel logos in the heel.

Yves Saint Laurent; the highest pair of stilletos in their range, coming in at an incredible 11.5 inch heel. that is dangerous.
