Ah models... Because they're tall in that amazonian way (those legs that go on forever!), and they're impeccably groomed at all times (hair perfectly mussy and that unnaturally dewy skin!), and they've got this mind-blowingly chic style (models single-handedly bought back leggings and motorcycle jackets) - you sort of forget that deep down at the bottom of it all they're real people. In fact, they're often real kids. Most of them are between 16-20. Even the young ones (Karlie, i'm looking at you) often have this grace and elegance on the runway and in shoots that bely their relative youth. It's incredible.
So it's nice to see them mucking around sometimes. Makes you think that maybe, just maybe, they haven't missed out on a childhood after all.
