The shoot that began an international career that would see Australian models take their place on centre stage. The shoot that started it all. Before Gemma Ward was Vogue US's youngest covergirl, Vogue UK's most-booked model, Teen Vogue's first model cover, before she had made her first million by 18, she was just an Australian girl in a wetsuit. In August Gemma is due to shoot her scenes in the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean film as a mermaid. I can't think of anyone better.
