day one

What a day. Busy from start to finish, with mad dashes to off site shows and little chance to eat anything other than a few wedges off Sara and Rachel's plates, I can safely say I have had an amazing day. From Arnsdorf to Flannel through Karla Spetic, Friend of Mine, Kirrily Johnston and Gail Sorronda, it was a day filled with strong female designers showing incredibly versatile looks. I want to wear loose linen midi skirts and button down tops accessorised with flat mint green sandals and a skinny patent belt like the Arnsdorf girl, I want to be brave enough to try neon bright colour blocking at Karla Spetic, I want that oriental print wrap dress at Flannel to wear with some strappy sandals and my Benah bag. Highlights of the day? Going backstage at Arnsdorf and seeing all that beautiful NARS for Mecca Cosmetica product, the lovely Brenda of Benah and her beautiful baby Milla giving me a lift to the Kirrily Johnston show all the way at the Bondi Icebergs, seeing Loren from Bloodorange boutique's amazing prada banana skirt, Jessie from Tuula giving me her ticket to Lover so I could see what is definitely going to be the show of the week (think white pantsuits, little black dresses and bright red lace) and getting to hang out with all my blogging mates. It's so great to see us all, raring to go, dying to see the fashion and eager to write it all up. How magical!
