our first breakfast in paris of baguette, freshly churned butter, pommes poires and a single chocoat // chairs stacked up in the marais // the love-it-or-hate-it IM Pei // pyramid at the louvre (incidentally, i love it) // the croque monsieur to end all croque monsieurs at cafe constant // the discovery of a secret storage room at the louvre // burgers and red wine for lunch at cafe charlot // locks for married couples on the pont royal // the queen's bedchamber at Versailles // tarte aux framboises and a killer chocolate tart with dulce de leche hidden inside from our local boulangerie // the obligatory laduree shot - and yes, they were very good // graffiti on the walls at the catacomb // beautiful architecutre at the place des vosges // the view from my window every time I woke up.
